I joined UChicago neXus to keep a promise to my high-school-self to explore K-Pop dance in college. I also attended some workshops and also Groove Theory practices to explore freestyle and street dance.

- In 2022, we recieved the Crowd Favorite Award at UChicago’s Where Fun Comes to Dance
- In 2023, we recieved third place at Where Fun Comes to Dance (I had the opportunity to made the audio mix for our set).
- In 2024, we recieved second place at Where Fun Comes to Dance (I again had the opportunity to make the audio mix for our set)
- In 2024, we recieved first place at UChicago neXus’ Konnex
- In 2024 we recieved first place and most synchronized) at KVersity’s Dance Dance KVolution.
modeling
I am grateful for the two opportunities to model and walk with UChicago Moda.
In 2022, I had the privilege to model and walk in the spring show “MODA Nouveau”. See us in 2D, as drawn by one of the designers!
In 2024, I once again had the privilege to model and walk for the spring show “MODA Blooms”. Biggest shoutout to my designer!
acting / filmmaking
I am embarrased to show the final short film, but I had the privilege to act in my friend’s short film.
music production
I had the privilege to explore music and sound as an art form and subject (beyond musical performance I did growing up)
- Here is my work for Electronic Music: Composing with Sound (MUSI 26618), we recieved various prompts as our assignments and these are the results.
- In The Musical Interface: Constraint and Creativity (MUSI 25722), I collaborated with a friend to create these songs in the Logan Media Center editing studios.
- For my final project in Video Game Music and Sound (MUSI 24822), I “de-mastered” the Pokémon X and Y Victory Road Theme as if it was demastered and we only had access to the Ricoh 2A03 sound chip which was part of the NTSC Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
- Participated in UChicago’s Winter Game Jam and tied for first with another team! Play our game here.
I specifically created the game music.

Also embarrased to share the final result here but for my final project in Sonic Cultures of Japan (EALC 17212), I redid the voiceover for Jotaro and Dio in the popular Jotaro vs Dio scene from Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure - Stardust Crusaders.
